so i have cleaned out my engine and when putting it back together it would'nt start and their is this hose called the crank case vent hose and it just went out by the back tire and i decided to put it up by the air filters(i have k&n's), is this a problem?

If you run the vent hose 'up', I would strongly recommend adding a filter - you DON'T want to turn it into a funnel for rain water leading directly to your oilpan!!

Mine goes up and connects to the air box. I thought about puting some kind of rubber p-trap in it. Sound like something you could do? They have them at lowes.
