exhaust canisters swaps

hi there, i have a full d&d exhsuats and it s loud.. is it possible too remove the muffler canister ONLY from the D&D and put a yoshi slip on muffler canister ON...JUST WONDERING

I assume your D&D is a full system then. I'm sure it can be done, but it my be more trouble than it's worth. A couple of areas that need to match up will be the mid-pipe length, the diameter of the collector, and the angle of the collector. I can tell you that the Yoshi mid-pipe that was sold for the FZR600 full system has a collector diameter of about 1-7/8"(ID). I'm not sure what the other pipes that Yoshi made run. the_finch runs a Yoshi slipon on his bike. You may want to talk with him. Of course you could always have a mid-pipe made to fit so you can run any slipon you want to.

You could also just repack the hell out of it. Buy like, 3 repacking fiberglass kits ($7 from unlimitedparts) and just shove it in the exhaust. Should quiet it down.
