Post by 91fzr600r »

i just tore my front end apart to install a new ignition switch, and who ever had my bike before i did ran all the cables and wires threw the 2 holes in the frame were the radiator hose is.it ha worked for years but i know this is wrong and i would like to fix it, but i looked in my book but it doesn't show wire or cable routing. and it seams like the internet is useless on this matter LOL2 ...any one have pics of the correct way to route the front harnesses and cables?? :ermm: thanx

They go over the top of the frame at either side of the steering head. The mirror stay has two channels in it the helps to hold the wires in place. If you do not have the mirror stay, just place them to either side of the steering head and under the tank cover.

The clutch cable and wires for the gauges are the only ones that pass through the holes in the frame (left side). All other control wires go above the frame. This is according to the Factory manual.
