Urban Legend says that the FZR600 ugly passenger footrests can be replaced by FZR 400 passenger foot rests BUT only from one model and up until now no body can tell me which model !!!

I have to ask, do you have a FZR600 and are looking at a set of FZR400RRSP rearsets, or do you have a FZR400RRSP and are looking at a set of FZR600 rearsets? If it's the latter I have a set of aftermarket Woodcraft CFM rearsets for my FZR600 at the house I can measure the mounting holes on for you. If you have a 600 and are looking at the RRSP rearsets, all I can say is contact the guy about the distance between the mounting holes.

I found a nice set of aftermarket 400rrsp rearsets and was wanting to see if anyone knew what would be needed to put them on a 600

Gotcha. If they don't bolt right up (which they might) it would be as simple as cutting off the current mounts and welding a little bit of steel stock (square stock or flat bar) with properly spaced, drilled and tapped mounting holes in place of the current mounting plates. Another option is to have an adapter plate machined.

There may be a chance that Bmiller knows. He previously owned a FZR400 3TJ (which I think is the 400RR model) and he may remember if the rearsets were interchangeable.
