Depends on the type riding you want to do. The 110 front really isn't much of a problem. The rear is where it gets a little tricky. I really liked the Bridgestone BT014 tires I had before I modded the bike. They don't offer a 140 rear, but you can safely put a 150 on the rear with no problems. A 160 does fit but starts to get a little too tight and requires a simple mod to the brake arm. There are other tire makers out there that make the 150 so shop around.
The 18" rear tire is getting hard to find. You may want to look at doing a YZF600 swingarm / wheel swap. It will give you a 17" rear rim in a 160 width which is still a common tire size. The swingarm swap can be done in a day or less if you already have the parts.

I have put the 160 on my 94 and 99 and it didnt require any mods. It is snug but doesnt rub on anything.

Correct tire sizes and weather it rubs or not is very subjective. People have commented on it rubbing the brake arm and not rubbing the brake arm. This discrepancy is mainly due to tire manufactures using different specs for their tire. If you put 6 tire from different companies against each other, they would all be different widths and heights even though they are all the same size. Then add in weather or not your bike has been down and how hard. Metal tends to bend when it is hit hard enough and it may not have been enough for the rider to notice.
I know on my bike, one of the previous owners put it down and bent the subframe by at least an inch out of center. Makes lining things up a real bitch.
