Help with the carbs. the screws from the floats are stuck

I've just pulled the carbs off the bike so i can clean them. The big problem is that I'm stuck at the screws that hold the floats covers in place. They are stuck and I cannot unscrew them. They are like butter and wear down very fast and I used a high impact screwdriver from the beggining.
Anyone has any idea of how to unscrew them?

small vise-grips. You should only need to turn them an 1/8 turn with the grips.
Then hop on down to your local hardware store and get Allen screw replacements.

Liquid wrench, a Dremel to cut a straight blade notch in the screw, and a hand held impact driver using a large straight blade. Works every time, just don't hit the carb body with the hammer.

You can use a hacksaw and cut a slot in the top of the screw and use a flat head screw driver if the screw is rounded.

If you have chewed the heads RR is right vice grips will finish them off completely. However just before you use the vice grips, just tap the screw heads with the flat face of a hammer (be sure to support the carb lug the screw goes into UNLESS you wish to snap off the carb lug :-}
By hammering the head you do two things:-
1} Reform the crew slots just enough for a screw driver to gain purchase of not some air wrench type driver
2} break the corrosion that is holding the screw so tight.
In any other situation BUT carbs I would use heat to break the corrosion.
As ReelRazor said go get your self some 4 mm allen screws & use anti seize on the threads BEFORE installing them

I got it sorted out. I drilled the screws and i'm getting new Allen screw replacements. One more question. Which are the factory settings for the carbs?
