Oil light coming on only after right hand turn.

We had a "Ride for Kids" toy run yesterday. I have a few pics to post up from. 85 bikes and one ONE sport bike.

anyway. After all of the right hand turns at stop lights, when I would get on the throttle the oil light would come on, during the shift it would go off, and when back on the throttle back on it would come. Now we had gone about 2 miles of 2 and 3rd gear back and forth. Couldn't go very fast with all the HD and Goldwings.

Anyway when we got back I had the gf lean the bike up and I had oil inbetween the 2 dots and it didn't look extremely dark. On the way home from the ride I couldn't get it to come on at all, this morning it did the same thing after I had warmed her up a bit. All the right hand turns. Also it was 63 degrees yesterday and 48 this morning.
I did an oil change about 1200 miles ago, at 7k. And was about to add some sea foam and then do another one before it gets real cold. The other problem is that I put mobil 1 semi synthetic oil, 10w40 I believe,in it on the last oil change and I was told later on that car oil shoudn't be used. I also got the 6 dollar napa filter.
I did a wiki and forum search and someone was having problems with their 1000 and it was suggested to do an oil change.
Thanks for the help in advance.
Chris.

It's going to just be how the oil is sloshing around and where the sensor is in the oil pan. If it is going on during those actions you described, chances are you are losing oil somehow slowly, and the light will start coming on more and more often.

+1, mine burns some oil and this is usually a sign I'm going to need some soon. Razor posted in a thread once about the mechanics of what sets ours off but I couldn't find it.

Thanks guys, that is what I suspected. Since I was going to add some of the sea foam and therefore that would increase the fluid in the pan, I was going to start watching it after that and see if it quit coming on. I just hate to run the s.f. for a long time in there.

It looks so small compared to the cruisers

I know, and realistically speaking I am probably the smallest cc bike too. There was a Ducati there but I think it was somewhere in the 900's. Oh well. It still felt good to know that I could "go faster" than everyone else. Maybe not the Ducati.

I'd actually like to have a cruiser too but I already scrape my foot sometimes on the FZR so I know I'd be touching down on a cruiser

I agree completely, I would like to have one cause I finally found a girlfriend that likes to ride too. While we look good on the FZR together I'm sure she isn't that comfortable and I don't think the spring likes it that much.
