FZRSupport: the FZROnline Archive

Well first im new to the site and this site is pretty cool def enjoying reading all the posts. But i have a ? about my shifting, when i shift sometimes it doesn't shift all the way into second gear, seems to be getting caught up in neutral, doen't happen every time but atleast when im shifting quickly. Now what i don't understand is sometimes when im shifting down gears ill pull in my drive way shift down to second and then shift down to first but it will go straight to neutral instead. Am i having a clutch problem with my gears or is this common?

If not common what should i do to check and see if everything is in good shape or not, what would i have to replace if so? Thanks DOTSON_42

Hi,
You will find that the gearbox on FZR's are notorious for iffy shifting if you troll thro the forums archive.

In the WIKI you will see a how-to that shows the gearbox strip down with notes on what to look at for damage.
