Gurgle, deadish spot

My bike accelerates fine under throttle (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, etc) through the rpm range but when I am cruising between 5-6k on the freeway (keeping a constant speed) the bike will sort of gurgle slightly. I won't lose speed or anything, but to GAIN speed i need to twist the throttle quite a bit.

Yah i'm going to try to replace the plugs later today and see if that does anything. Carbs were cleaned spring of last season and I run a little seafoam every oil change (supposed to keep the carbs from getting gummed up i think, or at least put off the need for cleaning them).

do you have stock or jett'd carbs?
that range is usually controlled by needle clip position
to check if its cause by a lean or rich condition, give the bike some choke and try it again,if its worse, you are rich, if it gets better, you are lean

Cool, i'll give that a try. I also just went in halfsies on a carb tuner tool with another member on the site so maybe that would help too?
