So they just came in the mail today..1 white strip, and three blue strips. The whites aren't as bright as the blues, but that's fine, it's still way brighter than what I need them for. The white strip is going on my bike license plate, and the blues are going around the shiny stuff in my celica engine bay...when I put the engine back in :(. They were 2.99 each on ebay, and shipping was $3, after combining shipping for the 4 it ended up being $22, and even with the higher price to ship to hawaii. The only thing I didn't like is something small, someone got the wires backwards, so the red is negative and the black is positive. Oh, and the wire is a very very small gauge, so it's a little difficult to work with.

Oh, by the way, the whole led strip is in this waterproof plastic/rubber flexible gel stuff. I just put them on, I drilled holes in the undertail the size of the led coating around the leds, the shape of the undertail made it harder to mount the strip because the undertail is like a stretched "W" shape. It is flexible, but it is only flexible side to side, not up and down. In other words you can't bend the led strip in so the leds face each other or shine away from each other, it does flex a little bit the way I wanted it to, maybe it will hold that position better when I make a mount to hold it in to the tail. So now there is no light hanging above the license plate, only fairing and holes :). This also gave me another idea, flush mount turnsignals, that are recessed inside the side fairings. OR! how about having them recessed inside the front fender? Rear hugger? Tail fairing? Two strips in the side fairing, mounted parallel to each other, one is a running light, the other is a turn signal. Tons of possibilities!

Oh, and if you can't tell what the last picture is, I took a picture of how the light looks under the passenger seat with the camera flash off. Maybe I should have posted the picture of it with the flash on :headscratch:
