I have the SS2R full system and I want my bike louder... so I was thinking of removing some or all of the fiberglass packing. will this make it louder? and will I have to rejet?

If the V&H is in good shape don't hurt it, Sell it on the forum and buy a D&D from someone...

will I have to rejet? it's already been jetted for this exhaust but will it need to be redone? and whats the specs on that bike? I want to do something very similar to mine... swingarm and wider rear wheel, yzr tank but want to use an R6 tail and seats.

How much of the can did you take off? And what kind of increase in volume are we talkin' here? I'm pretty interested in the mod!

sounds like you dont need to change anything then.......
if it gets really jumpy/stuttery that generally means its going lean on you........

I removed ALL of the fiberglass packing... knowing this increased the volume of air moving through the muffler I decided to cut the muffler down 9" to try to reduce the amount of air that can pass through it... hoping that my mod somehow evened out the difference in backpressure. it isn't a LOT louder but it has a much nicer tone to it now with a slight increase in volume. maybe twice as loud as before but deeper tone.
