Hey guys, recently I've been starting to realize that the rear of my bike may be set up a bit high, after the swinger swap... it has a head shake on decel at around 65km/h, and wants to fall into turns at lower speeds.

Can someone with a stock setup give me a measurement of what's in the pic below, as accurate as possible in mm? This is with the bike on it's stand, and the suspension topped out/unloaded. Would appreciate knowing a baseline for the FZR...

I've got 45.5mm or 17 7/8" +/- a few mm LOL2

iv got almost 22.5".
mines raised in the rear.
its also lowered in the front.

iv got no headshake though.

Thanks shred, maybe it's my nearly worn out front tire... I have a new one on the way, we'll see if that helps (I'm gonna do the tire and front wheel bearings at the same time)

The headshake is pretty bad, only on decel and with no hands on the bars, between about 65km/h down to 55km/h and then it goes away. If I have my hands on the bars, then it doesn't shake. Weird

mine did the same when I had my fzr forks.
needed a new front tire bad though...did the fork swap so I dont know if new fron tire would have helped
but I can decell no handed from 160+km/h - 0km/h with no headshake.
The only time iv experienced headshake was while I was taking a fast curve during a bike run around 128km/h and hit a bump at the apex....scary shiz.

When I polished the lips of my rims the aircraft stripper ate the adhesive off my wheel weights and they fell off. I rode around without any weights on my front wheel for about a month and everytime I was coasting without my hands on the handlebars (under 25mph) it shook hella bad. Damn near got a tank slapper one time. Once my buddy static balanced my front wheel again NO PROBLEMS!

So, to make a long story short... CHECK YOUR FRONT WHEEL WEIGHTS

yea, make sure they are properly balanced.
