Alright well Target..Has a FZR and i think his bike is soo sexy here it is
Im just wondering if any1 could help me in the shoutbox or on AIM...I was just going to do the Airtech tail...So i dont have to put the r6 subframe on the fzr..So yea
That pic above..he has the r6 tail and im putting on the airtech i think (?) and i wanted to know how he made his back tail so high up..Like it looks like it is up in the air more..Then he put a back fender on the back tire..And wanted to know how to do that..
If any1 can help me i will love you! I just really would love to see my bike similiar to that!

to lift the rear the easist way is with shorter dog bones you can make them with some steal just support the frame take them off jack it up to where you want it measure the distance and drill some holes. you can also drill a new hole in the one you have on allready to. the rear hugger i think is for that swing arm the make one for the fzr its hard to find and airtech doesent sell them sepratly. there is one foor the yzf and r6 swingarm if you should swap them out

well, the backend on my bike is a bit different than most, it is a TZR250 swinarm. the Hugger was/had made by Chinaracer, for that swingarm. airtech makes one, but they are not tghat easy to come by as they only sell them in the R1 FZR kit. if you get one, i would probably be willing to make a few out of fiberglass if enough people are interested. dogbones are the easiest way to raise the rearend, not too hard, can make them or buy a set for like $15 or so, i think. i have no experience with the airtech tail, but i would guess you would need to cut off the luggage bars from your subframe, and make a couple of mounts for it. seems easy enough.

The airtech tail was the easiest . thats why i did it when i had first gotten my bike .. then next thing you know all kinds of tails are popping on the fzr .. mostly r6 99-02-...03-05 if im not mistaken . I always wanted to fab up a R1 tail like the year of my r1 model . But if you havent allready bought the airtech tail take some time and google can also be your friend . if your the least bit mechaniclly inclined the airtech tail is nothing to install and with a couple buddies and a dremel or cut-off wheel you be suprized how nice a r6 tail would look .. now if you plan on using passenger seat then you will for sure have to fab up some support mounts on back on the subframe but theres plenty of how-to's and such dating back many years .not 100 but a good ten .. if your interested in airtech with only one seat i suggest looking on ebay for solo-race tails off for R6 or R1 i can almost guarentee you will like them better and they are flush at the undertail unlike the airtech which is formed to use the stock fzr tailight .. If and when i get another Fzr i for sure will put a tail that hasn't been seen B4 .

yea right who am i kidding .let us know what u looking for im sure you find what you need .. Only way u can make your bike like targets is if you buy his .. it's a ONE OFF . you wont see another like it ..
