I just bought a 1992 FZR 600 and the chain seems to be in good condidion but is way too long and has way too much slack. Chain has been tightened as much as possible by moving the rear axle/rim. So if i were to remove links in the chain would this compromised the integrity of the chain or anything like that. If so id like an answer asap. Thanks everyone

It is probably stretched out in which case it will need to get replaced.

I agree with mega, the chain has probably stretched to far to trust.

Cutting out links is just a bandaid. It doesn't correct the problem just slows it down. Get a new chain and sprockets. You're going to have to spend money on a new master link anyway-you might as well spend the money and do it right.

Im probably way to late with this one but.......

To see how worn the chain is, pull it to the rear of the bike off the rear sprocket, at the same height as the wheel spindle.

Literally just grip it with your thumb and forefinger and pull it bacwards, if the links are not worn then you wont be able to see much of the sprocket teeth. But if you can almost se the tips of the teeth then its definately time for a change
