last Tuesday, I finally got the fzr back together after some intense weeks of body work, frame painting, and other stuff. Two days later I took her for a 7 day road trip and I got back last night. I didn't get the pics uploaded yet so you guys are gonna have to wait a bit for those. Anyway here's some pics of what she looked like before sailing off on my journey. I'm still undecided on the paint, but I wanted it to be one color so I left if primed.

U ever take that 250 out looks like it would be alot of fun buzzin around on that thing .. I love the way they came out with 08-present styling for that little bike ..I wish yamaha would make a smaller version of the R6 or R1 in a 250 or 400 cc ..

Looks really good, LOL I dod not even realize that was a Ninja 250. It looks exactly like my buddies ZX6RR. Have you decided on a color yet?

Pennsylvania ghost bike club? (Putting on stock fender, airtech won't fit with me tire.)
Me and my buddy have definitely seen that green bike around Hanover/851/Shrewsbury area.
We're on the ghost bike + 675 daytona

I have some PPG clear, more than enough for the bike, if you're going to be looking for some.

Let's ride!

hey! iv got the same rear stand...sunn battery or whatever...it was cheap so i got it lol
did your rubber on the part that holds the bike up wear off? its actually more of a foam than rubber.
I took a piece of 80 grit sand papar, put it on it, then wrapped it with a few layers of electrical tape and it holds and doesnt slide up my swingarm anymore.

anyways, enough about rear stands...
your bike looks great!
and i love how it looks on that back angle as well. if you look at my bike at that angle, it just look hidious.
great job!
one question...wheres the r6 rearsets!

Looks really nice man! Good job. About the 250, I was actually on a waiting list for one before I bought the FZR. They're cool little bikes. Those things sell like hotcakes too. I just don't understand why the other big three don't sell similar bikes over here. The whole "America only wants big bore, more power, etc." is kind of true I guess but Kawi's sales number for those things don't lie. There IS a market for them. Hell, if I had the money (and garage space), I'd still consider getting a little Ninja!

By the way, love your exhaust. Had one on my '89 and was really bummed that I couldn't get one for the current bike.

Yeah I love riding it. It loves to carve with no effort at all. Had to lower it for the gf so she would stop tippy toeing it. Also installed a two bros exhaust on it. It is LOUD.

Yeah the foam came off. I got the matching front stand too. They get the job done very well, but the rear stand kept sliding and scratching the sides of my swingarm. I find the rags work very well to keep it secure and keep the stand from damaging my bike. As for the rearsets, i just don't have the time to get them installed yet. Hopefully soon.

model192- We'll definatly have to get together. I ran into a guy in VA with a daytona 675, very gorgeous bike. Very interested to see how they ride.
As for color, its definatly going to be orange but money will determine if Ill put some kind of design on it. I have a Bahamas vacation to pay for so Im not sure how soon Ill be able to paint it. Updates will definatly be posted.

Well, depending on how professional you want it I know a guy that can do it. He's my neighbor, all his stuff, decent gun, dryer, etc, and I sanctioned off the shed with painters plastic and he went to town with his own blend of pearl. If you buy the sealer(40$), the color, I have the clear(70), he shouldn't charge you an arm for labor, good guy.

You could do it like I'm going to do it and he'll seal + base + clear, then you get the stickers from tapeworks in whatever colors to go against the orange and then he'll reclear and buff.

Otherwise Endurance Auto down near Stewartstown was quoting me like 400-600$ with the good paint, (sieman's?) Seemed like good guys, I just couldn't afford it and the neighbor was pulling a return favor. :D
