what size chain

hey i have a question i gotta buy a new chain but not sure how many links it needs to be. i got a 99 600 with a vortex sprocket kit. not sure if that makes a difference. thanks for the help guys

if its a 530 and stock sprockets you will need 106 links if its 520 I just grabbed a 120 link and cut off what i didnt need. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

That would be correct, I just did the 520 vortex 14/47 and used a 120 link chain. I think I took off like 6 links but I can't remember for sure but the 120 link will give you plenty, then just cut off what you don't need.
