I changed my oil the other day and my oil light wont go off. I know I added the right amount of oil and I have not seen any leaks anywhere. any ideas?

You checked the oil level in the window when the bike was vertical? If so, then you may have a bad sensor. I never relied on mine too much anyway. I always checked before and during rides.

I would bet its a bad sensor. Mine always cam on when the bike was low on oil like its suppose to. But when added, went out.

It's on the right side of the bike (if you are sitting on it) Can be seen through the small hole in the bottom of the fairing. Look at rage's avatar pic, it's the small hole

Got it, I looked after I rode for a minute and had the bike sitting vertical but could not really tell to much. I think I am going to change the oil again next week and see what it does

Is the window suppose to be filled or just half way up?

Mine's about half way up when I do an oil change. It would be nice if they put lines though, huh?

There's two 'dots' cast into the aluminum right next to the sight glass. The lower one is the 'low' level , the higher one is the 'high' level.
Mind you, check it with the bike upright (not on sidestand), level(front to back), and while warm (not running but after a minute of sitting to allow 'drainback'). I kneel on my left knee, grab the right handlebar and pull the bike vertical while watching the window.
