Please enlighten me on pods, tell me everthing and anything i need to know.
Also post up some pictures of differents pods that work and how i get them to work.

K&N sells them as a set - model number RU-2852. One pod covers two carb intakes. They use to sell them as individual intakes (4 pods for 4 carb intakes) but I haven't seen that kit for sale in a long time eve on eBay. The tuning becomes an issue with pods. There is a slight drop off in power around 6-7k RPM. I thought it was very slight and not much to worry about. But tuning the carbs with pods on it is definitely tricky. You can add a Flo Master system to it which helps even out the air intake to each carb main air jet and that seems to help a lot. They say you need to run pods if you install a stage 3 jet kit. So if you stay with a stage 1 jet kit, you do not need them. I believe Uni makes pods as well but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Hey Fizz,
As CAD600 was saying, tuning can be a little tricky with pods and DOES have an adverse effect on the mid-range. However, a lot of guys have had pretty good success with it so if you want to go that route, give it a shot. If you're interested I have a set that I could sell you since I went back to the airbox with a K&N. They would just need to be cleaned. PM me if you're interested.

I've got a set of the individuals at home. I'll see if they have a part number. I don't believe they make a big difference between those and twins. Carb tuning with a jet kit is tricky period. Adding pods makes it a little bit harder, but it's not the evil that many people make it out to be. I run a stage 3 with pods, aftermarket exhaust and flo-commander. I don't think my mid range suffers at all. My upper end does cause I still don't have the right jet setting but I scream up to about 9k.
More info on your bike would be helpful though.
