Does anyone know where I can sorce new, or decent, 600 airbox rubbers, prefereably in the UK? Mine have hardened over winter and wont stay on the carbs and it's fluffing up the fuelling.

Cheers,

Rich

Mine have hose clamps on them. I can tighten them down so the boot can not come off. Do your boots have those?

Take them off and soak them in (green)coolant on a hot plate or in a crock pot for a few hours @ 200f or so. Pull em out and knead them a bit and let them soak some more.

When you get done with that they will be like new- and they will stay that way for at least a couple of years.

There's rubber conditioners in the coolant to keep hoses pliable...and the heat helps it to soak in. The coolant doesn't have to be new/fresh...just NOT rusty and real old.
