does it draw too many amps for the relay? Has someone plugged one into their system and it's worked fine? I don't want to fry another relay..lol, i've already lost two, from trying stuff like this, thought i would ask first this time. I just want to plug the relay into my harness, the R1 fuel pump ran fine on the stock carbs, but that was running through it's own separate relay, i want to put the YZF6 pump with the YZF6 carbs since i have them both now and avoid all of the extra wires by plugging it into my harness.

A YZF600 fuel pump should work just fine. I think the only difference between them is the direction of the inlet and outlet tubes.

Hell, Modking has a fuel pump from a Fuel Injected R6 on his bike. You should be able to make it work.

just FYI dude you can crack those burnt relays apart and fix them in 5 minutes with a solder iron

really? i never opened one..i always resolder burnt out stuff, sweet! i'm doing it! i have my old fried relays too. both fried by running the R1 fuel pump through my system.

and modking has a fuel injected pump on his bike?? i'd like to see how he set that one up, the fuel pressure is a lot higher on the FI bikes
