While looking for the best price for a set of new tires I came across these on BikeBandit. Has anyone tried these or heard anything good or bad? Thanks for the advice. Pretty inexpensive at $167.00 shipped for the pair

The shinko tyres are a 5year old pirelli compound that they purchaced the formula for.
I think that one of the best mid price tyres avaliable is conti street attack.
Tyres are a personal preference thing.
The street attack compound will give you some slide with predictable return.
If your road temp gets lower the shinko will grip then give total loss without any warning.
If your roads are warm to hot they are good option.
I used to run mez3 dual compound tyres when i had my zx12r as they felt like race tyres when leaned over far enough and still gave me 4000miles per tyre.
The dunlops that came on the zx12 gave me 1600miles only.
I also used to run mez3duals on my bmwr1200s which was the last sport road bike i had.

I will get pics and feedback for sure, I know there are alot more tire options but mine still has stock swingarm so the 160 might fit the wheel but from what I understand it is too wide for the swingarm and rubs. 150 is the widest that will comfortably fit witout rubbing. If I am incorrect please let me know. Will be looking into a swingarm swap over the winter this year. Hopefully anyway

I am running a spanked Dunlop Sportmax in the front and a garbage Chen Shing Barracuda 140/70/18 rear that the Dealer recommmended, needless to say I don't go there anymore, the tire absolutley SUCKS, slips like crazy and looks like a damn on/off road tire. Needs to go. I believe it is on my bike in my gallery photos if you want to check it out
