they don't make any. You'll have to modify one to fit, or make one yourself

OK, so no aftermarket company make one for the 1989 & 1990 FZR-600.

From what bike is the best one hugger to modify to fit my bike ?

IDK

Airtech Streamling is the only known company to make them. Usually comes as part of their R1 body conversion kit. Otherwise you'd have to modify or make one.

Here's the link:

Yeah huggers are hard to find. If one does pop up on ebay you usually have to fight for it. For some reason I'm thinking that there was a hugger that only needed little modification to fit an fzr but I could be wrong. I have the airtech hugger myself but I bought it with the whole kit.

P,
By selling it you may get one lump sum.

the smart thing to do is clone it in plain F'glass and sell those & get probably 20 lots of cash <BG>

You will not be able to get airtech to sell you just the hugger. They know they have the only one in production and many have tried to buy it seperately. They just won't do it.

However, if someone wants to ship me a hugger, I can probably make a mold off it and produce a few in fiberglass before I get really annoyed with the fiberglass. I wouldn't keep the chain guard on the mold though just from a difficultly standpoint. It won't do me any good since I've modified my swinger and made my own hugger (which I'll be posting pics of tomorrow hopefully) so this would be more of a service to those with FZR's that want a hugger so easy has to come into play.

that would be kinda cool to have it without the chain gaurd , but personally they need to be made out of ABS i just dont think the fiberglasss is strong enough , i had all my body panels painted including the hugger* after i put them back on . Took the bike for a ride ride popped a lil wheelie ok maybe a couple times LOL2 when i got home looked around my bike noticed the hugger cracked at the top where it flows out the back of the tire
On another note .. i ordered a hugger once from ebay .seller // Wholesale Deals .. was like abs plastic foam .. POS came cracked didnt even fit and when i called the guy he went off on me and gave me negative feedback f*ck asshole lol never got my part of my money back and still today that - negative feeedback stands the chances u take buying stuff on the internet i guess O well i have AIRTECH TAIL HUGGER AND FENDER . they have all cracked one place or another , spiderweb cracks on the paint from stress , BUT anywhere i go i still get compliments on it so i wont bash Airtech but i wouldnt recommend them

Good ole' fiberglass. I was gonna make some copies of my airtech hugger last year but couldn't find the time. Anyway I always like to install any fiberglass parts on my vehicles and run them for a little while before painting to let the stress cracks develop. Then I'll fix them and paint. I know I'm glad I didn't paint my airtech kit right away, thing has stress cracks and hidden air bubbles everywhere.
:thumbsdown

Airtech lays a very thin glass. My hugger is made with about 4-5 layers of mat and resin. I laid in washers where the holes will be for mounting to avoid cracking. It's all about the size of the company doing things. Since I care about my parts I do them right and my glass will hold up because I put a little extra time in to do it right. Airtech slabs it on a machine and goes to town with it. Mass produced parts rarely ever equal quality.
