I have one mounted on the front cuz that's all my stealership had when I got a flat. I get some headshake on really hard turns but I don't know whats causing it. I doubt its the tire but thought I'd mention it.

NO. Only mount that tire if the back is a matching tire. The SportMax is a biasply tire unless things have changed. While miss matching tire manufactures is bad enough, you never miss match a biasply and a radial mount tire.

Now if the rear tire is the same type of construction material, then it's up to you. I personally did not like the Dunlop SportMax that came on my bike when I bought it.

I have a 120/70-17 on the front of mine right now (bridgestone).

I won't run a 120/70 profile again...it is too 'round' when mounted on our front rims, in my opinion.

I did a track day with a 120 in the front and it seemed to be good. 120's might be my only option for race rubber though.

Ohh, I guess I wasn't clear.... I would go 120 again, but I would get a 120/60 next time
