i ordered a haynes repair manual not too long ago for the 87 to 96 frz 600 to 1000 bikes... so after reading the book i noticed they have a section in the fron that translates your vin or engine code into what model and year your bike is for clarification... so i busted out the title and double checked the trueness of the numbers on the title... everything checked out so i went and read that section about the numbers and to my suprise my bike numbers arent listed anywhere for the bikes made here or uk models... so i am just wondering if anyone can verify i own a 1990 fzr 600 by the numbers i give you... first of the title states the bike as a 1990 yama(ha) F6R... when i got insurance on it i had to type in the vin and it came back as a fzr600r... and i can give out the section of vin that is needed but i will just state the engine code here... it is 3HHO92477... thanks for all your help guys i really appreciate it...

The engine code will be different than the VIN. Your engine is a non-Cali btw...

Give us the JYA3HH... numbers.... off the frame.

D & Sho,
Too Late :notworthy:

Reshuffled the WIKI TECH BOOK page, moved the VIN & TYRE stuff to the newly made " useful info " section of that page
