Any one know the dimensions from the center of the bolt hole to bolt hole on the 600's?

Trying to find better rear sets? Wood craft are the only ones out there with out modifying the bracket. China makes them here but not sure about his next order.
Let us know if you find something to fit.

In mm that is?

The closes number it translates to is 39.6875mm. Rounding it off to the nearest mm should not affect anything when mounting.

Thanks for the measurement Cad.
Mark, I was just seeing what's swappable. Found some universal ones on Ebay, but the the dimensions for the mounting holes were different.

Didn't find any thing close, guess China is the only one that makes some that looks good. I'll surely let you guys know if I find some else where.

Thats good. Ive been wondering that too. Ive seen some that may fit, but are probably off just a few mm.
Also, you can make something like
this. Have one side of the plate the dimensions of the FZR mounts and just drill the other side according to what type of rear set you get. Not only can it adapt any rear set to the FZR, it could be made adjustable too.
Just an idea.

Something like that would work for sure. Looks like this way you could keep the same length so no modding at all. Just a bolt on. Who was that from this board that made a 3 axis mill? This would be perfect for him.
Was it BMiller?

Close. It was bweight that made the mill. The tread is
here.
It wouldn't be too hard to make at all. I'm sure TK or someone can mill those out.

If I can ever get another damn mill I sure could. I have a bridgeport lined up but can't get ahold of the guy. Starting to get upset.

Still having mill problems huh? Thats a bummer.

Yup, that is all thats needed is that plate and we would be good to go. We would have to pick out one particular year rear set from a newer model and go with it.

Nice research slayer !!
I may just try with some universal ones, but I will need someone to mill up the plates. Anyone up for this task?
Let me know, and I'll see into getting the Rear sets and dimensions.

There are two things to deal with on this. First one is the shift linkage. You need to get a set of rearsets that use the same style linkage as the FZR. This is becoming a bigger problem as companies move to the newer motor geometries that has the transmission above the crank. The second item to deal with is directly related to the manufacturer of the rearsets you use. You could make a plate that would bolt to the FZR and will accept the rearsets, but the bolts that mount the rearset to the plate is different between manufacturers. In other words if someone makes an adaptor plate to mount some Vortex rearsets on, the plate may not work for someone who wants to use Gilles rearsets. The other way to do this is to cut off the FZR mounting tabs and have new ones welded onto the frame so you can bolt anything to it.

Good catch, Cad. Wasn't thinking about the shift linkage.
Back to the drawing board!
