Single Headlight Stay Vs Dual Headlight Stay

Post by mrfreeze5 »

Are there any differences between the two aside from the headlight mounting? Say for instance I have a single headlight upper that I need to install but I cant find a decent single headlight stay for sale, and the ones on ebay are mislabled as 91-92 when they really arent. If I am not using the FZR single headlight(Im using ABS's custom upper) but need to mount a 91-92 upper, are the mounting dimensions the same as a dual headlight upper? Could I use a dual headlight stay to mount the 91-92 upper minus stock headlight?

I'm not sure if there are any differences other than the light mounts. Looking at them, there didn't seem to be any. If there are any differences, then I think they are small enought not to matter. I know people have just bent the tabs to use the dual light stay with a single light unit so there can't be too many differences.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....
