DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS STUPID FELT THING SERVES A PURPOSE....THE REASON I ASK IS BECAUSE I MADE AN ALUMINUM PIECE TO REPLACE IT.....

..yesThat clicking sound when you turn on your ignition is the flux capacitor charging which gives off radiotronic radiation...
