That cover on the left side with the screw in it?

of my 91 600 it has a big crack right in the center of it, but its not leaking any oil and runs fine, is this ok or should it be containing oil behind that cover and its just leaked it all out and i am further harming my engine like a noob. banghead Little help guys.

it shoud be fine. it covers the stator which contains no liquids in that side.

No liquids thankfully, but you should look to replace none the less.

It should actually be fine, there's no oil behind that cover. Well, there's not supposed to be, and if there is, you've got really big problems. You may run into some problems in the long run iff you run it in the rain like that too much, but in the short run you're fine.

I actually have stock one laying around that I just took off and replaced with a NRC cover if you need a new one. It's not very pretty, but it'll work. PM me if you're interested.
