Hi everybody,

So I finally finished my VR swap and wanted to put up some pictures. I was thinking that these could supplement tommyj27's tutorial (which is the one I followed).

Brandon

P.S. I also replied to tommyj27's original thread. Sorry for the redundancy...

Seems like it. I started her up last night after finishing, kept it at 3k and was getting 14.26 to 14.29 across the battery. When I revved it up higher it only fluctuated by a couple hundredths of a volt. I even switched between hi / lo beam, hit the brake light, turn signals - she stayed right in the above mentioned range. That's good right? :-D Thanks for the great tutorial!

So I'm now - RRBike Woo Hoo!

Brandon

P.S. How's the weather holding up? I'm from MN myself (Brooklyn Center HS - class of '89)

Snowed here on Sunday. I was in Duluth for the weekend so I had a buddy grab my bike and ride it up to his place where I store it. 29 outside this morning, gonna get a little bit better into the weekend so I'm hoping to go riding a little more this weekend then winterize it. It will be a sad day, but I'll take my snowboard out to wax it and everything will be okay again.

I would put your grounds to the frame not on top of the aluminum.

Looks very clean though. Good job.

That's cool. Get the riding in while you can and have fun with the board! :headbang:

That's a good point. I'll try to do it the next time I'm able to sneak out to the garage for a few minutes. :whistle

Thanks!

still looking to see if I can find one at radioshack or something so I dont have to pay $20 for that harness.
one of the relay plugs on the FZR have the same plug, so if you have an old harness, then you can salvage the plug
