You really don't need it that much if your windscreen and stuff don't bounce around.

You have to remove that in order to do the YZF tank swap/ I kept the part for the mirror sides for strength.

you dont wanna cut that thing off...next time you ride over 40 your mirrors will gigle like pair or jugs. i did the same thing and couldnt see anything behind me then...windsceen moved a ton more also.

well, im trying to make my bike look more modern, and i havent seen any bikes with that thing on there, and I looked and it didnt really seem to need it except for the base part to mount the tank so I cut it.slayermd wrote:What made you do that?

I dont blame ya. Doesn't make a difference on mine...my mirrors vibrate and i cant see anything no matter.
