Hey all, I just got a 91 Fzr 600, I used to own a 92 fzr 1000 anyway I just got the 600 and I want to start swaping stuff cuzz the 600 gets all the good swaps. Can someone give me a quick rundown on just the appearance swaps like the fairings front and sides, the tail, and the swingarm that are the easiest to put on with mininmal fab work. I can find bits and pieces of swap info all over this place but I get kinda confused with all the jumping around so if someone can hook me up with the info they would become my best friend! I just wanna make the bike look newer so if ur gonna say well it all depends ur just wasting ur time, Im like a sponge just lookin for info

. Thanx guys

a good rear end swap is the YZF600 rear, minimal increase in wheelbase, and you get a 17" rear wheel that takes semimodern rubber.
the YZF600 and early R6 is a good fork swap, as is the YZF750 and early FZR1000
are you are a sponge looking for info with cashola?
cuz I have a complete YZF750 front end swap and a YZF600 rear end swap that I could be persuaded to part with

Actually I got kyb inverted forks on there right now, I dont know much and from what im told they are pretty nice ones, Im really lookig to mod the tail tank and fairings though first. I will fersher keep u in mind about that though, mine just looks brand new so Im kinda scared to go messing with that yet. I just got ugly bike syndrome.

the KYB's are probably from a YZF750 or FZR 1000
350 for the rear setup, includes 520 chain and the needed sprockets to do the swap, and a spare rear wheel, plus shipping.....
one wheel has a tire, the other doesn't.
400 for the front, plus shipping, inlcudes clip ons AND switch pods, no tire on the front wheel
In the next few weeks I might get around to doing the rear end swap, who knows.....

all front and side fairings are going to require you fabbing up mounts for them, a piece of aluminum stock, a vise, hammer, and a drill, and you can do it. common tails are the R6, but will require mounts, and cutting your subframe. the only tails that will go on with minor fabbing would be a race tail. otherwise you will have to make mounts, and remember, you are sitting on it, so you want it to be secure. I know this isnt the answer you were looking for. your best be would be to find the look you want, and then search it out to see if someone has done it before and can help you. or just get the pieces and have at it! Follow your dreams. You can reach your goals, I'm living proof... Beefcake, BEEFCAKE!
