steering lock (got mine to work)

does anyones work?
After studying my steering lock problem, and noticing that the bolt is to low by 1/16"
all I had to do was adjust one of the spacer on the triple trees which raised the top section with the ignition. Now it works!!
Yay!! not ther is a whole 10% less chance of someone stealing my bike from the original 95%...

my key also wont come out when I turn it to steering lock.
i think the whole system might have been removed from my bike, not sure. Ill have to take a look again

oh, i see, its off center.
the bolt is about 1/8 inch to low, so it doesnt go into the frame hole
i think ill have to grind down the ignition mount so its set higher and will meet with the hole

Mine works, although my key is so worn I can take it out with the engine still running

Mine too.I find it convenient,I can pull the key out and check my gas while riding

+1! My buddy's '68 El Camino does that with the ingition. I thought it'd be nice cause then you'd never accidentally leave your key in the ingnition.
