That's why i'm keep telling: riding is safer than walking.

trouble was that there was no rear wheel in the bike due to a big screw in the rear tyre, hence the walk about till tyre man came & put the new boot on the rim.
now all I can do is sit and admire it

George, It's probably a good time to start detailing the bike with the one good hand that you have. Hopefully it will be better in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Sorry to here about your misfortune, that really sucks not being able to ride.

thanks TG, I'm bored stiff already and it has only been hours since the Doc put the cast on.

I was gonna give the bike a workout &see my engineering pal (60 miles each way) and get him to make the 3tj swingarm sleeve & spacers for the gsxr600 shock, whilst I sorted out new wheel bearings to take the 3tj axle in the 3he wheel OR see if I can find a 3tj rear rim (17) rim although DocRider has a gsxr 750 rim in his so I PM'd him about that?

as someone said the best laid plans ....................

Your able to type so why not fix some of the WIKI's that are up? LOL Get well!

I'm just watching those specs and I was a little surprised..0-60mph , 3.6 sec? also 485lbs??
In the factory manual it says 450lbs with oil and full fuel tank..so that's a little off...
If it's really that fast i'm proud.. My friend spent about 10k on his Ninja ZX6R and it's only .5 faster than my FZR!! He has a power commander and full exhaust and I can still take him from a stop light.. of course he flies next to me when he gets close to the 14k rpms!!

thanks nah its my lh but if need be I would use a straw hopefully I can hang out more here as all chores I hope are suspended and keep my spirits up I get bored real quick if doing nothing.

I know someone sent me a WIKI tutorial url & now I cannot find it. HELP

I do mean polishing and cleaning, and admiring from afar. Guess that's all you can do for now.
