Clutch adjustment issue

Post by 95FZR600 »

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about the lower clutch adjustment. I was having problems adjusting the clutch.

When I was doing the r6 swingarm swap I had to remove the front sprocket cover to get to the front sprocket. After removal I flipped it over to look at the internals and I could not believe the build up of gunk and road debri from the last 15000 miles. After removing all the goop in the parts washer and reinstalled the cover I made one adjustment on top and one on the bottom it was like having a new cable and lever position and feel is perfect.

For those of you having adjustment issues I suggest cleaning the inside of the front sprocket cover. And then lube the cable.

Hope this helps out.

I have that same r6 swing arm.
it seems to wide to fit the fzr 600 even with grinding down.
did you add more pics to your write up?
