Well I fnally got my pads on today, bit tight on the left side but it slid on. The instructions says 200 miles of city drving before they are broken in. Any recomendations for breaking in? I was impressed with EBC so now I have EBC sloted rotors and EBC yellowstuff pads on my truck.

Follow the instructions on the back of the package, which is something like varying your brake pressure periodically (not so you lose traction and low-side, obviously) and don't clamp down hard for long periods of time, or they won't seat to your rotors correctly. Oh, and if your rotors are warped, they'll let you know pretty quick, like my EBC HH sinstered pads did.
Definitely one of the best upgrades I've done to the bike, though.

Those are the pads I used. I just took it round the neighborhood and it feels pretty good. The pads I removed had about half pads left. I'm assuming they are the original pads, with 22k on the bike. Does that sound right? Whats avg pad life for normal street riding.

I just broke 22k when I changed out the pads, and when I pulled the old ones out, they were almost down to the backing pads

. "Average" pad life probably depends a great deal on the stress put on the braking system. It looks like the previous owner rode the living crap out of the brakes, so I really couldn't tell ya'.
