TCI service

I have decided to service my TCI and understand the BIP373 Ignition drivers is a recommended replacement for the OEM drivers.
My web research indicates that the BIP373 is meant for CDI ignitions and may not be the best match and could cause starting problems.
Wondering if anyone who has done the service has problems?
