Hi Guys / Gals (?)
picked up an incomplete 91 FZR600 the other week as a project -
missing some panels ( sorted now) and one of the Previous owners took off the clutch cover and lost it and all of the parts underneath !
Picked up a "was running" engine to drop in from a local wrecker - but intending to collect the missing parts on the other engine to complete that as well.
he she is in the shed - as you can see Im used to working with v4 hondas - so probably a masochist ...
Regards
Rayman

hopefully engine in this coming weekend - then need to order a screen( dark) and chain and sort indicators.
paintwork is my web site promo that I completed a couple of weeks ago -
not the best colour rendition from the phone ....
weekend was complete rebuild of forks and calipers - ( pd valves and 0.83 springs)
mounting of instruments ( 91 bike - but 89 fairing), tubes ,bars etc.
fz1000 shock should arrive this week - will need to respring and reshim

more bits have arrived -
engine in - tuned/synced the carbs (4 way digital vacuum gauge) and fixed some leaks -
few bits still to go on - chain, pegs, brake fluid ...
but otherwise nearly there.
was very bright sun so have fiddled picture back to somewhat near the correct colour.

PS - yes the exhaust angle is wrong - its just on there loosely as I need to do a repair to the mounting flange yet...

Just do the exhaust so it is parallel to the line of the sub-frame. You see some bikes with the exhaust at 45% and it look like a erection.

changed the decals to a bit less specific as putting her up for sale -
by back and neck and wrists are not tolerarant of the position any more - so I usually use the 1050 sprint.
oh the red is more red than the photos make it look - the phone camera shifted it towards orange
Rayman
anyway - photo for the record.
