Just picked up a PowerPak for my 93 fzr but it has no documentation with it. Anyone happen to have a copy of the user manual or installation guide they could share?

I found it online, can't remember where. I might have an image somewhere but it's not likely that I will remember to look for it tomorrow.

This is all that I have. Maybe you can find something better on the web.

I was sent a pdf from the seller but it says its for a 95. i was only able to find online a link to a thread on fzrarchives that had links to dead pictures and a manual for the 1000. it looks like the dip switches have the same settings in the pdf that i got and the one i found for the 1000 so hopefully they are the same for the unit i bought.

The year does not matter, they are all the same. The only differnce in the engines from a PowerPak perspective is that it's either a CA (emissions) or 49 state model, thus V&H made two models of PowerPak for the FZR.

You need to flip the #2 Switch for a mild tuned bike Mike... I was going to flip the #2 switch for you but Ella had already sent it out.
The part number for it is on the Chip that is fitted, this is also clearly labelled with the model type which I assure you is for a '92. Having checked on CMSNL, I'm fairly confident the Part number for the '92 and the '93 are identical for the original CDI unit of which the powerpak replaces.

#1 is for a completely stock bike
#2 is for a tuned bike
#3 is for race bike
#4 is for drag bike

all other combinations are covered on the manual pdf Ella and I emailed you, or on the inside of the actual cover itself. Hope this helps mate!

As for the coils, I couldnt quite work out how to set them up. Let's say for arguement's sake, the resistance value of a stock coil, line and plug is 10. Your new coil has a value of 3. That means your new HT line needs to have a resistance value of 5. And that your Plug needs to have a value of 2 for it to work correctly.
I wasn't sure of this which is why we decided to sell them also... no point installing the coils, if the powerpak wont work with our model bike ('95 4JH).

I purchased a Vance & Hines powerpak #22353 on eBay. I have a 99 California fzr600. I am wondering if anyone has successfully installed one of these on a ca bike. Or maybe someone has a California powerpak they want to trade?

If you don't find someone to trade with, I can make an adaptor that will allow you to plug the 49 State PowerPak into your Cali harness. US$50 plus 10 for the mail man.

Turns out Pr1ngle sold me a unit i cannot use on my 93 FZR after being assured it would fit. Watch out when buying parts from that asshat, he is well aware of the problem and is only willing to refund me the shipping.

From the information i got from V&H the unit appears to be for a FZR1000 and NOT a FZR600.
