I got a 1998 fzr 600 just bought, will only ride for about 1 hour and the battery dies, its a brand new battery, i just bought a new regulator rectifer, but still just dies slowly, before i pay for new stator do any of you guys think that it could be wiring, the wire that goes from battery to regulator has a 40 amp fuze between it, when i put the test on battery i loose about 0.01 every few seconds and when i rev the bike it just goes down like 0.04v and goes back up just wondering the wires are really beat up from the stator and to stator..
Thanks for looking

Do your checks as et_miller suggested, but then unplug the VRR and measure the AC voltage across the 3 white wires. Check the AC voltages in pairs; 1-2, 1-3, 2-3.

New aftermarket or OEM rectifier ? I would go with OEM. I have heard Rick's makes good products.

The one connector looks melted and corroded, do you think the stator would do that if its bad? Or a short.. either way i ordered a new stator not sure where to find a new connecter either for the other side once i get the new stator
