Coolant expansion/overflow tank location

Hey fellas, my name is Jon. I just picked up a (what I believe to be) a '91 FZR 600.

My main question is where should the coolant expansion tank be located? A medicine bottle zip tied to the sub frame is taking its' place right now - not going to cut it with me. I have located an OEM on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/2623876270 ... rmvSB=true

I also downloaded a manual but fails to mention it anywhere, it also doesn't help that it is difficult to read!

Any help you could provide would be much appreciated :)

Great, thanks!

My next question is how is it supposed to secure to the frame? I don't see any correlating threads... Trying to upload a picture here in a minute.

Don't quote me on this as mine is currently in pieces in my garage but if you look in the red circle I drew, I believe it mounts by the two phillips head screws on the frame rail there

This is perfect, thanks man!

You may be hearing more from me in the future! I've taken the carbs off, cleaned them, have a battery, rear brake caliper and bracket, spark plugs, and the expansion tank ordered and on the way.

Only concern I have now are the spark plug boots. I've never seen the type with an exposed wire that you insert into the opposite end of the boot. I don't know how secure it is.

Anyway, thanks again! I'll find out how to donate to the site :)
