bad solenoid?

I hit my start button and the bike does not crank unless I jump the solenoid. However when I hit the start button the oil light turns on and the fuel pump primes. So is this deffinitely the solenoid?

Before you diagnose the solenoid bad, I would read the wires out between the switch and the solenoid. I'm not 100% familiar with the wiring system, but I wouldn't at all be surprised to find out the wires run back through the key switch as well.

How can I isolate this problem? I do have a digital multimeter

And now the fuel pump does not prime
