I've seen quite a few posts on this forum asking for Carb help. I was thinking that it might be useful to list our working carb setups.
I'll start. Mines not perfect. I'm still dialing it in this weekend.
FZR600 RA
D&D full exhaust with no baffle(WAY LOUD)
Stock airbox.
Factory Pro springs.
Factory Pro needles clip position #2.
Float Height 24 mm.
mixture screws 2.25 turns out.
Stock jets 107.5 main

This setup seems just a touch lean at 1/8 to 1/2 throttle . I'll edit the post as I get it closer to perfect.
Remember all who are working on your carbs, record every change so you don't have to repeat anything.

I wonder if we can get factory pro's database posted on here? They should have a good number of setups in their database for the fzr.

dude is totally cracking me up tonight...

anyway, yeah, i DEFINITELY got 4, but i have no idea of their settings other than all the needles are at the 3rd position and they are by DYNOJET. I had a mechanic clean and tune them January of 2007 but don't know what he set the floats at or the mixture screws.

Maybe i'm going nuts but i thought there was a "carb sticky" or wiki for this kind of stuff anyway. i shall look around.

Bike: 1996 FZR600 (EXUP - all EXUP components removed)
Intake: Stock Airbox w/ K&N Filter (no ram air tubes attached to frame)
Exhaust: Full V&H Supersport Exhaust

Carb Mods:
- Factory Pro Emulsion Tubes
- DynoJet Jet Kit

Carb Settings:
- Main: 126 (DynoJet)
- Starter: 52.5 (Stock)
- Clip Position: #3
- Float Level: 22.5mm
- Mixture Screws: Varies. Got them as close as possible with a IR Temp Gun taking header measurements.

Notes:
Did not drill out slides like DJ recommends.
I run 87 octane gasoline.
Not the best all-around town settings, but it was a Track Day beast! Pulled real hard at 1/4 to WOT.

Still stock

BTW slayermd are you in the seattle area, and working in game development?

i'm still dialing it in but as of now i have the cold air intake with a dynojet stage three jet kit. 128 mains with 24mm float height and needles on clip 2. i think 3 turns out for idle air screw.

Currently bike is stock, V&H ehxaust and paper filter (soon a K&N).

My carbs settings:
22mm floats
3.5 a/f
synched
setting 3 (from the top) on factory pro needles
new emulsion tubes
factory pro springs
stock jets 7.5,5.2 etc

Running super unleaded most of the time.

I am not in the Seatle area. Im in good ole' Denver. And I wish I was in game development, that would be sweet!

But none of these details are there, I had suggested this a few weeks ago when you guys posted about it.

C'mon people. It's hard to create a reference for people without a good sampling. I know there are more people out there with carbs on thir bikes. List them and the FZR gods will smile down upon you and grant you 10 more HP
Once we have enough perhaps Rage can add the refs to the wiki.
