hey all
Recently picked up a 94 fzr with this coloring, although there are a few things missing and i'm going for a resto, I need to find the graphics for this coloring.
Checking out cmsnl for a 94 I come across this:
http://www.cmsnl.com/yamaha-fzr600rfc-1 ... ml#results
Inside the fiche it says "bluish white cocktail" Is this what my bikes coloring is? Once i have a part number it should be easier for me to find.
Thanks!

The "blueish white cocktail" is probably the white basecoat / basecolor (available for example from http://www.motorradlack.de/en/brands/yamaha/ but i guess in your country a similar company working with yamaha-colorcodes should be available also) ...i gues thats not a Standarddesign on your image, it looks a bit like mixed up from different Designs with help of Decal-Reprints... perhaps http://www.stardesignracing.com/ak/komplett_set.htm and http://www.stardesignracing.com/ak/onli ... er_nav.htm in combination with the possibility to chose own colors before ordering might help a bit with your resto

Hey Tom,
I think you just helped me out.
I definitely have to do the bluish paint myself on the fairing, thats not a big deal...i'll find that color somehow. The orangish stripes i might just have to mask and paint myself, they dont seem too difficult. However the FZR logo is the hardest part to recreate, but I think I can grab that logo from somewhere and send it off to graphics shop and get that printed out once i make some modifications to it in Illustrator or something.
So i guess there isn't somewhere I can buy this off the shelf, but at least now I have a starting point to go from.

As stated on their website, the Logos are available in different sizes and in colors of their colortables as you tell them at stardesign , maybe also as a gradient instead of single-colors...
If you're able to compare the color to the blue of an R1 (guess around 2007 building) and it fits : That should be dpbmc / "deep purplish blue metallic C" as Colorcode then... i asked a guy about the colorcode of his R1 as it was a nice blue when i tried to find out what color the guy used for the partial fairing my 3BF had when i bought it...but it didn't match completely because in my case someone had used a cars blue for doing the paint-job (and soon after trying to get the colorcode i got a complete but bit broken fairing which i restored with plastic-welding )...

If you have somewhere local that makes vynil cutouts, you could measure and make a stencil in steps starting from the outside with the bigger outlines, and work inward with the smaller stencils to get the two toned lettering for "fzr" where it goes red to blue. Does that make sense? It did in my head
