Hello Guys,

We are going to hit daylight saving soon and its getting dark earlier.

My evening commute back will be in the dark and Im planning to put some Driving lights in my FZR 400/600 streetfighter for better visibility.

I have chosen the below two lights and will be going with either of them.

Does our FZR600 have enough juice to handle these lights?

I'm running the stock stator and upgraded Rmstator RR unit.

Is there anything I need be concerned before installing them on the bike?

The Bulbs of the European FZR 400 1WG/ 500 3HJ/ 600 3HE have 35W Bilux Bulbs inside, the US-FZR 400 3BF / 600 3HH have afair 55W H4 Halogen Bulbs inside..your links show LED-Lights with lower real Wattage,so there should be no electrical Problem at all as long as they've a kind of Overvoltage-Protection integrated (12 V at a Motorbike or a Car are not as stable as from a pure Battery due to overlaying Frequencies based on the Generator, so a kind of Overvoltage-Protection isn't a bad idea für LED based Headlights)

I will go ahead and order them.

I'm using Philips Motovision H4 bulbs which are 55w.

Forget about juice. Try quality. I can guarantee those lights will be absolute garbage. Show me a CREE U5 or U3 chip. At that price you will not be getting a CREE branded LED or board. They can state whatever they want for a Lumen output. Most LED's chips that are that big will handle a load between 8-80v. So at 80 volts you might get 3200 lumens and I mean might. Drop that down to a realistic voltage of maybe 8-10v and the claimed lumens drops to useless. Put it through a lens that is substandard and scatters the light all over the place and it's even more useless. More light lost to unusable light but still counted in the lumens figure.

This is your life in the dark. You really want to trust it to $20 lights? You don't have to go high end but at least buy from a company you know you are getting a CREE inside.

For this price, I'm going to try it and see how it works.
