Does anyone have an idea??

So i went for a ride today with my brother. During the ride at one point when i had my clutch pulled in, while in neutral my brother said he heard like a whistling sound. Later that ride i noticed that when in 1st gear and the lever pulled in it feeled like the bike was still trying to pull forward like it was engaging some. After that all the sudden my clutch lever had absolutely no pressure when pulled in and when you pull the lever all the way in it makes a horrible grinding noise from what sounds like the clutch cable cover? I had to clutchless shift home (which wasnt too far). When we got home we pulled the cover that holds the cable. The clutch lever is still actuating the lever that pushes the pushrod into the clutch basket and no the ball bearing isnt welded to the long pushrod! What can be the cause of this??? I have a new clutch cable and i know the clutch plates are brand new! Could the cable have come out of adjustment?? Any info will help greatly! PLEASE Its a 1994 fzr 600

seriously, no sarcasm, take a deep breath.
You said replaced clutch parts (I have a new clutch cable and i know the clutch plates are brand new!)
so, how long have you been riding it since you replaced parts?
I'd go back through your work and double check torques on the bolts/nuts you worked on.
And yes, new clutch cables do stretch.

I been riding it for just a couple months since the work was done. Im gonna replace the cables and see if their is any adjustments that need to be made. Just seemed weird it would do that. Thought maybe someone would have a for sure direction to point me in

Sounds like the clutch hub retaining nut has loosened and the whole clutch is being pushed outward into
the outer engine casing.
If you remove the oil filler cap you may be able to confirm this by sight or feel (engine stopped obviously)
before you remove the casing to inspect the clutch pack.

Thanks for the reply willandrip! I know that right as this happened the engine started to run hotter then it ever has either? The cooling fan was keeping it cold but i have never had the fan come on till this happened!
