Why would you dump a bunch of chemicals into your bike? Find an Exxon with 110 octane exotic racing fuel ($7.50/gal), or go to the airport ($10/gal), or the local race track ($12/gal)...couple gallons, top it off with no ethanol premium...BAM!

I agree with the no ethanol but what are you gonna gain with the 110,our engines aren't tuned to run on that and don't need it??

What do you think gas is? A bunch of chemicals. Seafoam has a proven track record and costs 6-7 bucks at any car parts store 5 minutes down the road from most people.

It's just an opinion really. Half a tank every once in a while to clean things out, I don't run it full time at all. Burns hot and clean, cleans the carbon and gummed up crap out of the jets and carbs...it was a proven formula with my 3000GT VR4 and the bike was happy after I did it for the first time last night, immediate and noticeable effect. I'm just not sold on the whole seafoam thing and the big smoke show...a good clean fuel with no additives and garbage seems like a better way to go, again in my opinion. This is of course based upon the fact that I am having no problems which gives me no need for the seafoam treatment anyway, seems like if I needed the seafoam that badly I would be better off just rebuilding the carbs. I'm not looking for a "cheap" fix to anything, money is not an object when it's only $15 for a couple gallons of the 110...and it's just a maintenance procedure for me, my bike is purring like a kitten today and I feel glad that I didn't dump something I don't really need into her.

pump 110 ?? Avgas?

Ummmm

NO. FALSE. WRONG Etc.

Burns cooler...actually promotes carbon when your compression ratio is not high enough to force it to burn.

Has 20% less btu's than 87.

high octane Avgas....still has lead in it. Yey!!

OP, there's probably something else going on (wrong with your bike) if your bike runs better on such extreme fuel. I would not recommend it. Sea Foam is good stuff and there's loads of research and what not documenting its benefits. So if it [edit: using high octane fuel] works for you great, but there is nothing outside your experience that would indicate or suggest that it [edit: using high octane fuel] is good for the engine on your FZR600.

I guess the bigger question here is why someone with 8 posts is coming on board and slapping a product for no good reason? It wasn't brought up in a thread. It's just an inaccurate rant. Why?
