I was about to go after one a little while back but in hindsight I was better off without it and using the $$ on other stuff. A lot of things end being converions or upgrades anyway. And most of the ones I looked at needed all of the same things mine did. But thats just my 2cents.

Umm is it just me or does that look like a 1000 frame and tank and tail etc? So it has a 600 motor in it? No papers at all? Some times a good deal isn't all that good. I'd check it out very carefully before buying.

From the looks of the tail it might be a 750. OR it's a Fox Eye YZF. But that's just a guess. Just as ThatKid said, check everything out before you hand over the cash. Because NO TITLE could really mean STOLEN.

Nobody....
I mean Nobody....
Puts a new motor into a stolen bike.
The people who steal bikes, don't steal another bike to swap motors.
No, they would just go steal another bike.
While I agree, no papers is sketchy... I would just use it to talk the price down.
And at 600... its still a great price.

You could easily talk them down since they have no papers. Offer him $300

Like they said, be careful not to buy a stolen bike, and without papers, you can probably get it cheap.
Am I the only one looking at the deltabox frame and seeing that it's too wide/wrong shape to be a FZR? I would think that should give it away if it's a YZF.
On another note, if you do buy it and it is a YZF600, I would definitely be interested in the bad motor.

Definitely looks like a YZF, but with all that rust, I'd be walking away.... unless you plan on rebuilding the whole thing.

a parts bike is the best thing to have around..(if you have a place for it). I have one, and so far i've used the forks, tires, carbs (diaphragms shot in the old ones), relay ($150 for turn sig relay from yamaha) and the front brakes. There are other little things i think, but i saved so much money by getting my parts bike.

3 words....
tank
swingarm
forks
DUDE your crazy if you dont buy that thing for parts. You could make your money back selling the plastics on ebay if they are in decent shape. not to mention all the sensors, seats, and odds and ends stuff on there.
