Misfire at midrange/high rpm under load

Post by Bmansfzr600 »

Hi all.
I got a bad misfire at midrange/high rpm under load. Bike starts and idles fine. Revs fine. Put the bike in gear start to pull off and stumbles, sputters then dies. Get it goin again pull off and goes to midrange and sputters like hell. It will finally catch then pull like a bat outta hell till higher rpm then does same misfire or stumble. I have tried everything to get rid of it. Drained and replaced fuel. Cleaned carbs thuraly (many times) replaced plugs and complete ignition system. Replaced pickup sensor with stator, new battery ,new used fuel pump. Checked all fuses and wiring. Nothin bad. Can't figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Brian banghead

Check your diaphrams in the top of your carbs. That was my prob. Not properly sealed. I have 3 racks and all the parts for them for sale if interested. Plus a set of carb syncronizers (used once ) and a dynojet stage 1 and 3 jet kit plus a few various other items for sale. Totalled mine day after xmas and bought a buell
