End bar mirrors

My diameter is 7/8 so bought some bar end mirrors for them, they use them metal clips and no matter what I've tried I can't get them to work as threads are in way for the clip to expand proper, any suggestions on mirrors as I'm going down the streetfighter route thanks

When you find some that work please post as I am looking for the same. With yours though could you shim the collet by wrapping some aluminum or copper strapping around them to make up the difference in diameters so that the collets can expand against the inside the clip ons like they are suppose to do.?

Never thought about copper pipe straight down to create a smaller gap, only problem is I have the expander half opened past the threads which I can't get out so bar weights are on atm till I can get it out, thanks for idea though
