Hi all, I was thinking about ordering a dynojet jet kit for my fzr 600. Anybody use these before? Thoughts, questions,concerns? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I used it and loved it. Both the DynoJet and Factory Pro kits work well.

Dynotjet and FactoryPro are both good. However, with Dynojet you have to drill a hole (enlarge it really) in your carb slides and with the FactoryPro you do not. So if you ever wanted to revert back to stock you will not be able to do so with Dynojet.

I don't believe it's an issue. I don't know of anyone who went back to stock after adding a jet kit.

One way around it is to drill another hole of equal size to what is already there, so in the rare case you want to go back to complete stock, just fill the new hole with JB Weld and done.

Thanks all. There is ALOT of work done to my bike and I can't seem to get the tune right. Didn't run right when I bought it. ( got it cheap). I'm currently rebuilding it after my accident. Tinkering mostly while waiting on my settlement. Did some research and I think a dynojet kit will fix my prob. Was just curious if anybody had used them and their experience with them so thanks guys. Much appreciated!!

I've never heard of a jet kit fixing any problems. Just sayin'.

It's just tuning on the carbs

If you have aftermarket components, such as a K&N filter or pods and a full exhaust, chances are you will have problems that a jet kit has the ability correct.

However; some things like worn emulsion tubes, can't be corrected by simply adding a jet kit. I would certainly pull those and check for wear. Typically, they will show an egg-shaped hole if they are worn out. Other times, the hole is simply enlarged and more fuel is flowing when it shouldn't be.
